The indoor pool at the Rec Center will be closed for refurbishments sometime in June. Please check the Activities Map for the outdoor pool hours.

2. Safety Information
Property Manager: Tyler McElroy 904-600-3490
First Aid Kit Location: In the cabinet to the left of the fridge.
Security Cameras - 3 Cameras are located on the exterior.
Two are in the front yard, and one is under the downstairs porch facing the doors.
Fire Safety:
Location of Fire Extinguisher: In the cabinet to the left of the fridge.
Escape Routes: The upper floor can exit through the front door and the downstairs has 3 exits out the back.
A map of the escape routes can be found at the front door on the side of the fridge.
Wildlife Safety:
Bears: Bears are very active in our area.
Please ensure all trash is securely stored in bear-proof containers provided.
Do not leave food in your car.
Ensure the grill is cleaned after each use.
Always keep an eye on children.
Snakes and Spiders: We have seen poisonous snakes and dangerous spiders on the property. Please be vigilant and check before you pick up any items in the yard or let the kids out to play.
Terrain: Like all properties in the area, our land is not flat, and our Ga clay can be slick when wet. Please watch your step when walking around the property.
Deer: The deer here think they're dogs, so please be cautious if your children are feeding the deer. The bucks are more gentle than the does, but our son did get his arm stuck in one of their antlers one day... 🙃
General Cabin Safety
Our home does have stairs so please be sure to keep the door closed to the stairs if you have little ones.
We do have a fort for the kids with a slide and a small swing. Please make sure they're playing safely and not jumping into the net. (This net is for kids only, please, no adults.)
Please ensure children are always monitored around open flames, the hot tub, the play areas, and the creek.
Fire extinguishers are located in the laundry room on the main floor and by the bathroom door downstairs.
3. Cabin Amenities
Wi-Fi Network: Check the side of the fridge by the front door.
Heating/Air Conditioning Controls: Located on the top floor in the kitchen.
Hot Tub: Please slowly fold the lid from the left side of the stairs over to the right. Then walk over to the right side and slowly pull the lid over to the side, easing the lid down slowly to the side of the hot tub.
Our hot tub stays clean by using a process that separates oils from the water. If you or one of your guests like to apply lotion, it would be best to shower before entering the hot tub.
4. Entertainment Options: All TVs in the house are smart TVs so you can stream your favorite apps. Be sure to sign out of any apps at the end of your stay.
6. House Rules
Smoking Policy: Absolutely no smoking or vaping in the house. We do have multiple sensors and will charge a $500 fee if caught. If we're unable to remove the smell before our next guests and have to cancel their stay, we will also bill you for their trip.
Pet Policy: Pets are not allowed on property. Inside or outside. If you're found to have brought an animal we will charge a $500 cleaning fee and file a claim with AirBnb or VRBO.
Noise Policy: Please be respectful of our neighbors. Our home is higher on the mountain and sound carries. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am.
Parking: All roads leading to our home are paved and we do have paved parking, however, the parking area is slanted.
If you're arriving in a car that sits very low to the ground, it's best to pull down the hill at an angle to avoid scraping the bottom of your car when pulling in. SUVs and pickups all have plenty of clearance.
We only have room for 3 cars so keep that in mind.
Closets: All of our closets are locked. I know, I know, everyone wants to see inside for whatever reason, but I promise it's not that exciting. This place is still our home away from home so we have personal items like clothes, decorations, and memories in them. We do have sensors on each locked closet, so please don't make it weird... 🙃
Parties: Parties are not permitted at the cabin. Only approved guests are allowed in the neighborhood/cabin and must be declared as guests on the form. Again, we only have enough room for 3 cars max and there's nowhere safely to park a car in the road.
