We fell in love with Ellijay long before owning this cabin — the kind people, the fresh mountain air, the sound of the water, and the peace that comes from being surrounded by trees. Time slows down here, and as parents of three girls, that’s something we deeply value. We’ve learned that the best memories come from the simple moments — laughing, exploring, and just being together. Our goal is simple: to never stop improving this special place we've come to lvoe and to create a space where families can relax, reconnect, and make core memories that last long after the trip is over.
We started to host Creekside Cabin because we were tired of staying in places that didn’t feel cared for — the kind where the pots and pans were old, the sheets were scratchy, and “family-friendly” just meant a bunk bed. We wanted something different — a true home away from home.
A place with:
🍳 A kitchen stocked with quality cookware and everything you need to cook a real meal.
🛏️ Soft, cozy bedding and thoughtful touches in every room.
🐾 Space for kids and pets to play freely, and for parents to actually relax.
Creekside Cabin isn’t just a getaway — it’s a place that feels alive.
You’ll wake up to the sound of the creek just steps away, spot deer wandering through the yard, and spend evenings around the firepit or one of the three cozy fireplaces.
For the kids (and the young at heart), there’s a bamboo forest to explore, ziplines, swings, and a private play area that make every day an adventure.
For parents, it’s peace. For kids, it’s magic. For families, it’s time well spent together.
To us, great hosting means thinking of every little detail — so all you have to do is show up, unwind, and enjoy.
From the moment we first stepped into Creekside Cabin, we knew it was special — a place we’d want to return to year after year.
A short drive from Atlanta makes it the perfect getaway that still feels worlds away. The cabin already had an incredible history — with over 30 five-star reviews and being recognized among the Top 1% of cabins in North Georgia — and we feel truly honored to continue to host and make it even better.
